Lisa graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Magna Cum Laude in 1992. She later did her graduate work at East Carolina University, graduating with her MSW in 1996. She has been fully licensed in the state of NC since 1999 and has over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families in multiple therapeutic settings. She is fully insured and a member of the National Association of Social Workers as well as an NASW-NC Certified Clinical Supervisor.

Lisa currently participates in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield.  For those who are uninsured/underinsured, she is able to work on a sliding scale or pro bono through the network at Freedom House on a limited basis.
